Why You Need To Add Budburst Wine Festival To Your November Hit List

Are you a pinot aficionado or a riesling fan? If so, we have the event for you. The Budburst Wine Festival will return next month from Friday, November 18 to Sunday, November 20, giving you an opportunity to venture behind the vines to meet a slew of family-owned and small-batch winemakers in mainland Australia's coolest wine region.

More than 25 expert winemakers are throwing open their doors across the weekend for wine tastings, curated food menus showing off some of the creme-del-la-creme of local produce, live music to get you grooving, art shows, sculptor walks and just all round great vibes.

The festival at Macedon Ranges Wine will kick off with the inaugural Budburst Blooms celebration, where wineries off the beaten track in Lancefield, Woodend and Kyneton invite you to tantalise your tastebuds with some of the very finest drops our country has to offer ahead of a stacked weekend.

Even better, there are ticketing options to suit every itinerary. Budburst Blooms tickets are $30pp, a one-day sample pass for Saturday or Sunday ticket is all-inclusive at $59pp, and for those serious wine lovers, you can grab a two-day Saturday and Sunday weekend ticket for $95pp. The best bit? It's easily accessible via Woodend station so you can choose to go for a day or stay and play the whole weekend.

Don't want to be the designated driver? Don't stress. The team have you covered there, too, with the Budhurst HOPPA bus route ensuring you can easily hop on and off throughout the day. The Lancefield Loop will see you visit the likes of Mount Monument and Lyons Will Estate, while the new Daylesford to Kyneton Drive includes stops at Cliffy's Emporium and Hunter Gatherer Wines. Perfect for those wanting an extra glass of wine safely without having to worry. You can pre-book your tickets here.

Grab your tickets to the Budburst Wine Festival before they're gone, and pack your bags for an unforgettable weekend amidst some of Australia's finest.
