It's no secret that we're spoilt for choice of stunner Airbnbs around the South West, and The Bushmans is no exception. This charming historical miller's cottage perched in the towering Karri Forest is a spot we've been eyeing off for months. It seems like every detail has been thought of—from the decadent free-standing soaking tub, to the chic interiors, luxurious linens and of course divine outdoor bathtub for stargazing, this whimsical little gem is perfect for a visit all year round. Our tip? Get booking before everyone else finds out.
Cleves Hut
Nannup | Sleeps 2
Image credit: Cleves Hut | Airbnb
Nestled in a lush little valley on the banks of the Blackwood River, Cleves Hut is a damn romantic spot to slow down and connect with nature. The 100 per cent off grid cabin is truly secluded and surrounded by grazing cattle and other wildlife—much of which you can watch pass by from your bedroom.
You won't find a tellie or wifi here, but they've assured us there is phone reception so go ahead and hotspot it if you can't cope without the internet. They've also got a Bluetooth speaker so you can soundtrack your stay with ease, plus board games to keep you entertained. The true showstopper here though is the gorg outdoor bath for two—it's completely private so you can just as easily enjoy a soak in the sunshine or by starlight. Stunning!
Hidden Valley Retreat
Carbunup | Sleeps 2

Located in Carbanup, between all the action of Dunsborough, Busselton and Margaret River, Hidden Valley Retreat is the perfect base for your next down south escape. There are a few self-contained cabins to choose from here (so you might have better luck actually locking in a booking). Don't worry though, it still feels incredibly secluded thanks to the lush surrounding bushland. The best part? Every cabin at Hidden Valley Retreat has its very own outdoor bath to soak in at the end of the day.
Treehouse In The Australian Bush

Nestled high on a ridge overlooking the Swan Valley, this jaw-dropping treehouse is surrounded by stunning views from every angle—whether you're chilling in the outdoor spa, enjoying a wine on the huge lofty deck, cooking up a feast in the outdoor kitchen or just chilling by the pot-belly fireplace. The spacious home sleeps up to ten and is only 40 minutes from Perth, so it's perfect for a relaxing weekend with a few friends.

Surrounded by the Porongurup National Park, this spacey, light-filled timber abode ticks all the boxes. The massive spa sits in a window-lit room that faces the picturesque Porongurup Ranges. This spa room then spills out onto the balcony, where deck chairs also face this superb sight. If you manage to drag yourself away from this Airbnb, you’ll be able to explore the Porongurup region, which is home to plenty of walking trails such as the Castle Rock Granite Skywalk and many wineries that meander right to Mount Barker.

Being completely off-grid within 75 acres of farm and bushland means there’s plenty of privacy to dip into a warm bubble bath on The Cabin’s verandah. After a relaxing sunset soak, you can pour yourself a drink and sit at the patio’s bar, or cosy up by the outdoor fire pit. As for the house, you’ll be forgiven for thinking you’ve been transported to the Swiss Alps, with this timber-laden home reminding us of a cosy ski lodge.
Petit Eco Cabin
Yallingup | Sleeps 2

Perfect for a romantic getaway or a solo trip to treat-yo-self, this quaint timber cabin is the ideal place to unwind with a glass of vino. Nestled within an organic vineyard called Windows Estate (quite convenient, we think), this cabin’s rustic bathtub sits under eucalyptus trees and faces a serene lake. We think you’ll find it hard to resist the urge to ‘gram this tub—especially when you’re lying back with a glass of red in hand.
Peter The Tiny Cabin By Heyscape
Esperance | Sleeps 2

There are so many cracking tiny homes from Heyscape (most of which have incredible outdoor tubs) to choose from around WA—but we wanna call out Peter in particular.
Located moments from the Cape Le Grand National Park in Esperance, you can spend days beach hopping between white-sand, turquoise water stunners like Lucky Bay and Hellfire Bay or hike up to Frenchman’s Peak to take it all in from above. Then when you land back home you can run an outdoor bath, pour a wine and bliss out to expansive mountain views while trying to spot emus and kangaroos in the distant scrub before the milky star-studded sky takes over. As far as off-grid stays go, this is the pinnacle.
Stillwood Retreat
Shadforth | Sleeps 2

Five minutes away from the Denmark township, you’ll find Stillwood Retreat. And retreat there we shall. This secluded Airbnb is tucked into the naturescape of the southwest, among the Karri trees and next to your own private dam. The outdoor bath is the real reason we’re drooling though. Soak yourself and someone else in the two-person bath whilst looking out at a panoramic view of the Karri Forrest.
Millars By The Lake
Quinninup | Sleeps 4
Image credit: MIllars By The Lake | Airbnb
Just a short drive from Manjimup (hello, truffles) you’ll find this secluded and heritage-listed cottage. Stargaze from the porch in the outdoor bath by night or bird watch and soak up the mill settlement views when the sun is shining. During warmer weather, we’ll be testing how youthful we really are with a few bombies off the pontoon in the private lake. If it goes badly, you’ll find us on the verandah with a vino.
Serenity Gully
Kangaroo Gully | Sleeps 2
Image credit: Serenity Gully | Airbnb
Picture this: you've just slipped into a gorgeous outdoor bath at sunset, glass of wine in hand, surrounded by breathtaking bushland views, when dozens of kangaroos bounce across the mountain ranges. This is the kinda magic you can expect when glamping at Serenity Gully. The luxe eco tent has got all the five star comforts you could dream of, and the surrounding countryside is seriously spectacular and completely secluded. It's also not far from Bridgetown, which is full of eclectic shops and a damn good country bakery too. You really can't help but leave this stay feeling completely relaxed and recharged.

Owners Kristie and Shane truly hit it out of the park with 8 Paddocks. The gorgeous one bedroom chalet is wrapped by 180 beautiful acres of natural bushland, pasture and vineyard, so it's a good spot to switch off and relax together in nature. Margaret River | Sleeps 2

We've said it before and we'll say it again... We. Love. Outdoor. Baths. This one, in particular, feels super special thanks to the insane views of rolling hills and the picturesque river. But beyond providing a beaut bath moment, River Blue also scores bonus points for its contemporary interiors—think polished concrete floor and bespoke timber cabinetry—and sustainable straw bale construction. It's basically like stepping into a cool design magazine for a weekend.
Margaret River Glamping
Margaret River | Sleeps 2

If only year ten camp was in the same realm as Margaret River Glamping. This luxe, cosy and secluded glamping experience is the perfect way to unwind away from the bustle of the ‘burbs. Complete with a bell tent, campfire and bush bath to soak in with a book and a cuppa. The tent itself has a queen bed, electric blankets and an electric fireplace for those who need the extra help. Melaleuca Luxe
Ambergate | Sleeps 2

Is it a house? Is it a tent? Actually, this hidden WA gem is a bit of both and we’re here for it. Melaleuca Luxe is technically a glamping tent with a comfy king bed, French linen bedding, a lounge, kitchenette and bathroom. Except this adorbs little pad isn’t your average tent. Not only is it perched up high on stilts, but it has sliding glass doors that open up onto a big balcony, complete with free-standing copper outdoor bath that just calls out for bubbles—of both the soaking and drinking variety naturally.
